Honestly, avoid a gell-mann effect. If you read the pandemic section and find it lacking (I know, it was published in 2008) then you'll find the whole book lacking. I do enjoy a more family/food based frame for prep work.

I've read about 60%~ IF I were to re-read the series I would finish it i'm sure. I feel like I remember the first title so much and the second title not at all? So, I just had a hard time re-connecting the story and characters.

No rating from me rn.

Taxes are interesting, actually.
I'm going to be trying to file my own taxes this upcoming season instead of paying - so, maybe not the best prep book but I read it.

Very cute - wonderfully illustrated! If you read the author's notes first it will connect you on a deeper level to the story.

Aww, the art is SO cute!

The character designs are great too, the color, full backgrounds!!!
~ I feel like this artist definitely referenced a cat biscuit making for when the dragon is kneading the dough.

The ART! AAAAAA

Fantastic style, reads like a classic fairy tale, and is really just creative and engaging~

Gorgeously illustrated!

A re-telling or perhaps addition to the poem “The Goblin's Market” it's perfect for Halloween and has a classic fairy-tale feel.

This has been on my list for years and i'm glad to finally get around to it. It's incredibly sad and it's incredibly funny AND it all hits you like a truck.

No rating - just looking at fashion pictures

I really like the style -the story was a nice one shot kind of story and it's a good read!

Made a handful of these recipes and some work and others don't.

The art in this is fantastic. The story and character interactions are chefs kiss
I enjoyed this issue.

Wanting to find some more joy and fun in my life - i've been having a good summer and I wanted to continue the fun. It's mostly looking for delight, identifying real fun/active vs. passive, and being free from distraction.

This is probably a re-read at some point.
