I'd never heard of Squirrel Girl until i played Marvel Snap, but after reading this interview I picked up Vol. 1. Been reading it with my girls and giggling our heads off!

Had me at page one with her theme song; the footnotes & background gags are so good

Nice alternative to the super heroes I've read in the past. A very strong young woman (that I'd want to share with my kids), and surprisingly doesn't kick butts as often as she alludes to, but uses sensible discussion and compassion to bypass her foes.

This was fun! Sometimes it feels like it's trying a bit too hard (and reading the issues in this volume one after the after can be tiring), but for the most part this is a fun and funny comic. It's a nice reprieve from the doom and gloom of a lot of recent comic series.

Love this! Good clean fun, silly, and just delightful. :)

This was hilarious and delightful. plays a lot with the tropes and inherent silliness of superhero comics in a way that reminds me a lot of 80s indie comic (without any of the hipper-than-thou cynicism that a lot of those works had).

Meh.

I like Nancy better than Squirrel Girl and may just continue reading it just for her. I thought the Deadpool cards were hilarious, but SG is just a little too Pollyanna for my tastes.

This is one of my favorite, favorite superheroes. I genuinely can't believe how much I love it, it took me by surprise. It's so positive and hilarious. A perfect pick me up kind of a read. I fully plan to share it with my niece because it's a comic we can read together.
