DNF. horrible writing

Overall I liked it. Some parts dragged on a little too long explaining in minute detail things we don't really need to know. This was still a wild ride from start to finish.

Absolutely nuts and unbelievable but totally gripping and hard to stop once started! Definitely recommend the audio with January LaVoy narrating.

Was definitely an interesting story, and feels like it should have its own short series on Netflix. Only lost me as the some pieces felt a bit too unreal, and some of the writing felt a bit cheesy but very good overall.

Good

This was a great one for an audiobook. It was paced well and the narrator was captivating. The second half was not as intense or as enjoyable as the first, but I thought the ending brought it together well. I didn't love the narrator's choice of voice for Ginger. Overall a good listen!

The pacing of this just felt off, and I felt no connection with any of the characters. It was enjoyable as an easy thriller read, but if I knew now what the story was like, I wouldn't have bothered.

3.5 stars. A unique book that I couldn't put down. Definitely worth a read if you're looking for a quick engrossing thriller. For 75% of the book I thought it would be a solid 4 stars. The ending isn't bad, just a little carried away.

Wow...what a ride! This certainly looks into the deepest part of a mother's heart and what would do for the survival of their family and protection of their children. “Life is fragile, fleeting, and precious. And to live at all is miracle enough.”
