been binge-watching chowder recently and it's a bit concerning that the only way i've been able to comprehend these books are in chowder references.
If Belly doesn't end up with Jeremiah I'm going to be pissed! Also I'm begging for a single POV in book three, the introduction of Jeremiah's POV in this book was awful. The man barely strings 5 words into each sentence, it's like being in the mind of a toddler just learning to speak.
I really adore how fleshed out the Amazon tv series is compared to the book.
I'm surprised how much changed from novel to tv, having watched the show first.

Belly es una boludita, Conrad un inmaduro (gracioso pq se la pasa diciéndole a belly que madure) y Jer muy bueno para ser verdad, ni leí el tercero pero ya se que la autora lo va a convertir en un sorete para forzar a belly estar con conrad, más cantado que despacito.
I only read this because I watched the series, and now I wish I did not waste my time reading this book.
I have finished book 2 in the series and I gave this one a 4 as I liked marginally more than “The Summer I Became Pretty.” I still find Belly (Why that nickname? It is terrible), to be incredibly whiny and immature. The bouncing between brothers is getting tiresome. I did find Belly to be a bit more manipulative and she told a lot of lies in this book. I am looking at this as a former teenage girl and I am trying to remember that this is similar to growing up for a lot of teens. It sure is tiresome though. I thought the storyline was better than book 1. I will read book 3 to finish out the series but I will be glad to be done.

doesn't beat the first one, but belly definitely grew a lot in the time between the first one and this one and i love that development! wasn't expecting the book to end like that tho, i was caught off guard
The main character is so annoying. She's so immature and whiny. I finished this book but I won't read the last book, I really can't. The writing is good and I really like the short chapters but that's all. I wish I liked the books more than I did cause I really wanted to like them. But when the main character is SO annoying, it's impossible.
