Keir was almost unbearably awful, jumping to the worst conclusions about Mitch for most of the book. Yes, I know he had suffered several traumas including losing his parents at an early age and being left at the altar by his fiancé, but that doesn't excuse his self-righteous nastiness. Meanwhile Mitch was so perfectly understanding, caring and supportive that he didn't seem like a real human being. He deserved several apologies and lots of groveling from Keir, and I lost respect for him for not demanding both. The two MCs together were just not a good combination for me.
