Definitely one of the better short stories in this collection but I think she's written better.
Loved that the sex in this book (there wasn't much) was realistic! It wasn't exactly perfect the first time, aaaahhh yes, finally something that's more what it's “usually” like the first time with someone.
I really liked this book! It was a fun, quick read that tugs at your heartstrings all the same.
This is another novella where I felt completely satisfied. A lfrienemies to lovers with a wee bit of second chance and a snowstorm.
I really enjoyed the MMC. I thought he was charming and sweet.
i'm convinced ali hazelwood couldn't write a bad book even if she tried really hard, she just never misses!!!!
It started out nice, sweet even, of course without the backstory one thinks they've known each other for so long and had mutual crushes but didn't want to admit it.... but then...
Who can even think a fling with the guy you saw as a newborn and have met your whole life, pretty much as your younger brother, would be right, or hot romance? Like BIG red flags everywhere in the book:
- That is not hot at all
- The guy doesn't take a NO for an answer
- The guy acts like a patient, but he is definitely not
- He is more on the creepy side of things
- The FMC is a wreck, and I thought "well, at least she sees this is by no means hot", but then she admits she's got the hots for him too, so..... no thanks
Sorry but not Christmas-y at all
I was shocked by how short this story is but even more impressed by how complete it is. In a few pages, we have a full story with all the necessary details. The result is adorable and kind of relatable.
