Big bad beast

Because of previous books, I was convinced I would hate Dee-Ann. But the story was great and I ended up liking her character.

Back to 5 stars!

I've been waiting for Ric and Dee Ann's book since book... 4? With Gwen and Lock. They are adorable together and I love them both. This is where Ric really isn't the most bloody-thirsty or dangerous of the pair and it doesn't bother him one bit.
They might be my favorite couple...
I was a bit surprised how things went down, but glad they stayed where they are. I think I need another Van Holtz romance.

Also the “Thank you kindly” Dee Ann tells people kills me! I laugh or smile gleefully. She is so badass!

It's been obvious for the last couple of books that these two would be paired up. I really did like this book. I just really wanted to see dee Ann with someone a little more alpha.
