That hot guy tied to Lissianna Argeneau's bed? He's not dessert -- he's the main course! Lissianna has been spending her centuries pining for Mr. Right, not just a quick snack, and this sexy guy she finds in her bed looks like he might be a candidate. But there's another, more pressing issue: her tendency to faint at the sight of blood ... an especially annoying quirk for a vampire. Of course it doesn't hurt that this man has a delicious-looking neck. What kind of cold-blooded vampire woman could resist a bite of that? Dr. Gregory Hewitt recovers from the shock of waking up in a stranger's bedroom pretty quickly -- once he sees a gorgeous woman about to treat him to a wild night of passion. But is it possible for the good doctor to find true love with a vampire vixen, or will he be just a good meal? That's a question Dr. Greg might be willing to sink his teeth into ... if he can just get Lissianna to bite.

Lynsay sands makes vampires feel romantic for me. this was a fun fun read i will be reading more no questions asked! hot man for my birthday i would like that for real. Insomnia is apparently another way to say i cant put down a great book
I probably never would have read this had it not been for a giveaway I entered and ended up winning. Going into it I thought it was going to be something I liked because I like vampire romances but I never expected to love it as much as I do.
So this book is about a vampire who has a phobia of blood which I thought was a unique twist on the vampire story. I mean a vampire who faints at the sight of blood I've personally never heard that one before. So the main plot line for the book is trying to cure Lissianna of her phobia which is where Dr. Greg comes in and a romance ensues. There is more to the overall story than this though. There are some side stories as well but I don't want to get into to much detail.
I would have liked to actually see Lissianna cured of her phobia in this book but how this book ends leads me to think it will be worked on in the next book(s) as well so hopefully we will eventually see this happen. I loved the humor in this and also the romance it was kind of steamy. Definitely going to be continuing on with this series and reading more by this author.
I re-read this, this time taking it on as an audiobook yet, I'm not changing my rating.
I love the concept of vampires here because it is so unique. And Lissianna's phobia makes things...interesting but, not really. I was hoping it would and it does bring the two together while giving Lissianna reason to do all the things she is doing but, I just found it boring at time.
“Fix her phobia!” “After this...” “Why haven't you fixed it?” “No time”
Ugh
At times I forgot about it...
Anyhow, It seemed over dramatic to me.
I still did like the the characters and the thing that kept me to the end was how they would get out of the mess and be together so... the story too was okay. Perhaps this just isn't my type of book. Can't remember if I read the 2nd book already and I'm not sure if I will (again?).
