See allThis book is adorable. It was a quick and easy read with such a loving and tender man ❤️. The down side is that there were some really cheesy parts. I think I had some secondhand embarrassment 😬.
Wow. I've read Tessa Dare before and did not really enjoy it. I only gave this one a chance because it was a main character with lots of animals which I can really relate to 😂.
I did listen through audible and Mary Jane Wells did a phenomenal job. This was an easy breeze through read which the entire plot is about falling in love with the grumpy neighbour. You don't have to overthink anything. For once the female main character is not some weak ‘poor me' type which I really enjoyed. Also, they didn't get married days or weeks after meeting which is the usual in these HR books.
This is a must read for all people. It took me a bit longer to read as I would get so angry I would have to put it down for breaks in between.
I thought this book had some great ideas on how to make small changes in your life. I absolutely will annotate this book so I can have easy access to motivational sections etc. The reason it only has four stars is.... 1: It could absolutely be shorter. I don't know if it's me but oi feel most books I read could be condensed down. 2: This book is male dominated (surprise surprise!..not) it's a book FULL of males making changes in their lives and the story behind them....blah blah blah. ugh, a bit foreseen but annoying.
Well... I guess I'm sucked into these historical romances by Lisa Kleypas now. This is my second book and it was just as fluffy and lovely as the first one I read. These could certainly turn into an easy comfort book series as not a lot happens in them. Nothing horrific anyways. You know they are going to have a happy ending.
