Hard to believe the things he did. An incredible book on an extraordinary man that shows his struggles and triumphs throughout life.
Did not really enjoy this book. It had me interested at the beginning but as it moved more in. budhism, I was lost. Just not crazy about it. May be interesting to others although I don't think I can go above 2 stars.
Not a bad book although it had me interested at the start, he switches to budhism and away from running and this where he lost me. A decent story teller though.
Thought provoking. A good book to prerequisite a time of life reflection. Where do I want to be and how can I get there? It confronts the idea of not conforming to average or normal around you.
An incredibly unique way to look at sports, habits and execution. This is a book I should read once per year.
This book helped me begin to consider questions that I have previously never addressed. If we were to imaginatively think of heaven, with scriptural references...what could it be? These are the things Randy addresses in an easy and approachable manner.
A great book to start my running journey. Good story teller although some of it can be a bit too “hollywood”
An incredible life. It was interested to get a perspective on the early life and family background.
This may be one of the greatest books I have ever read. Simultaneously this was the hardest book to read. The depths that this book reaches in explaining how life was for people during this time....it has not left my mind and I don't think I will be able to go back to before I read this book.
This book was interesting. In a way it is a modern book on prayer and those can quite regularly be full of fluff. I found Tyler's approach to be nuanced and insightful. The Lord definitely spoke to me through this as I seek to really step into prayer. For anyone struggling with this and unsure how to even start, this is a great book. I did find some sections did go on a bit long making the same point but overall the book is very well written.
Some good principles and helped with a basic mindset adjustment although did not like the thoughts on debt.
An interesting idea for a book, curious to read his others in this style.
I found it an enjoyable light read more than anything too incredibly profound to be honest but that doesn't take away from it in my mind. It communicates a glimpse of a fictional world of conversation that would have been amazing to witness
Inspiring, a more developed approach than ‘Can't Hurt me'.
This book has some great wisdom that is authentic.
I really don't get the hype around this book. It not only didn't have a lot of solid facts throughout, it didn't appear to be incredibly well written.
He does it again. Another great book based on core principles. Ray Dalio is someone that is willing to learn and continue to look at the world through the required lens of the time.
This book filled in some gaps I had in my knowledge of history in economics and feels like a good stepping stone to look more into macro economics.
This book stands alone. It is the best book I have read on preaching the word of God. Just spectacular. If you want to know more of my thoughts...message me.
A great book and well told story although did feel like it began to drag a bit nearer the end.
This book inspires me continuously. I have read/listened to it 4 times now. I highly recommend the audible version.
What a great way to tell your career as a runner. I was gripped from start to finish. An aweome read.
