Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools

This book cast a lot of vision for what I want my prayer life to be. It's a weak area for me, and it's really hard for me to believe that all it is is talking to God. This book showed the simplicity of prayer and the depth that you can pursue.

This book was interesting. In a way it is a modern book on prayer and those can quite regularly be full of fluff. I found Tyler's approach to be nuanced and insightful. The Lord definitely spoke to me through this as I seek to really step into prayer. For anyone struggling with this and unsure how to even start, this is a great book. I did find some sections did go on a bit long making the same point but overall the book is very well written.
