The first time I've appreciated and learnt macroeconomics
Interesting but biased information on indicators of internal and external conflict
An economist's perspective on politics, history and finance
Informative and insightful regarding macro trends. However, doesn't effectively deal with what has changed since the 19th century, and how that can impact macro trends. Needs to read and engage with Polanyi in this regard. A quick, useful read, but not comprehensive.
He does it again. Another great book based on core principles. Ray Dalio is someone that is willing to learn and continue to look at the world through the required lens of the time.
This book filled in some gaps I had in my knowledge of history in economics and feels like a good stepping stone to look more into macro economics.
