We Came, We Saw, We Left: A Family Gap Year

3.5 stars. At times very funny, but not really much beyond that. Some of the more interesting stories were just brushed over, while some boring stories were drawn out over many pages.

This was in the gift section of Barnes and noble, and I love travel so I had to pick it up.

But gosh was I bored. It was like “yeah, I went on this hike, I saw this place, oh and I disagreed with my wife.” Nothing of substance. A few bits were described and that was interesting, but most of it was so boring. It felt like I was reading the same sentences over and over just with a different city name.

I get it, it's life, it's not always exciting. But this could have been a much shorter book, although then the author couldn't name drop so many locations.

Oh well. Onto the next book.
