See allAlthough the author mentioned it often, it was still easy to see how her privilege affected some of the outcomes. However, even with that disclaimer, it was a compelling read and a must read for all who complain about the poor.
There wasn't new material here. The narrative aspect was nice, but still, no info that I didn't already have.
The writing style was a bit hard to get used to, I'm not really sure I ever did. It was a cute book, but maybe not that realistic about teenagers.
Fairly decent story. Reminds me of Whatever Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen. Interesting main character, but the rest weren't that developed.
Couldn't get through the whole thing. It was a lot of the same, with no growth and too much self-hatred.
