Not gonna lie, I was a little STUMPED trying to figure out how to start this review.
Ha ha get it? Stump, because of Seth's occupation.
Anyways This short story was so good that it had me a little stumped trying to think of ways on how to write this review. But let me just say, I am at a loss for words! This so amazingly written! I finished it in a day! It definitely had me in my toes wondering what's going to happen next!
For a short story as well, the character and romance development was really well written and I loved how strong and impowering Charlotte is close to the end of the book!!
Abby, you did it again with such an amazing well written story!! I loved this one so much!
This is only the second work I have read by Abby Jimenez, and I am feeling slightly remiss for not reading more of her works.
I loved this with everything in my being. This book tugged at my heartstrings and simultaneously made me cackle out loud. And maybe shout, "Abby, she cheated on him with who?!".
We were given the cutest meet cute, forced proximity, a plant nerd (be still my heart), the best of the best for friends, and a reference to burying someone under a protected species (um, hell yes). Oh, and old ladies that I want to be like when I am old. How could I forget them?
The characters in this book are everything and executed so so well. Heavy topics are covered, but done with grace and levity. Our main conflict felt like it wrapped up quickly, but damn was it a cathartic moment.
I got this book from Prime First Reads, but it would be worth anything you pay for it. If you want a short, satisfying read, I highly highly recommend it.

I've been wanting to read something by this author for a while now and when this short story was available through February Amazon First Reads, I snatched it up. This was a short and quick read with no steam and while it deals with having a stalker, I thought this was a cute romance. You know that this is building up to a confrontation in the end and the buildup was great, but I was left a little underwhelmed with the actual confrontation in the end. It just happened so fast and so easily it felt kind of rushed. Other than that, though I loved everything else and will definitely be picking up more books by this author.
I chose this book as one of my amazon first reads & it was the best decision!
This little novella was perfect for Valentine's Day & I'm so sad that it wasn't a full length novel. This was a great introduction into Abby Jimenez & I look forward to reading more of her work this year. This book was sweet, funny and serious AND it was written SO well! I will say that at first I was thrown off by the use of question marks that I believe were meant to be sarcasm or just plain statements. I see what she was doing but it just threw me off a little. I got past it though and I loved this little book.
77 pages of pure joy :,) truly wanted to annotate this entire story. the amount of time i cackled out loud is insane. ABBY JIMENEZ CAN DO NO WRONG
Some of my friends (cough Katie cough) don't like novellas and give me shit for reading them. But if you know what you are signing up for with a short short/novella, good ones can be wondeful.
I loved this one. The MMC is wonderful and sweet and thoughtful. And the FMC has issues that are warranted. The side characters were also great.
