My first story by this author and I'm not impressed. Definitely had some potential but honestly just felt ridiculous. I just can't get over a three month time jump where she's angry at him the whole time to then immediately trading ‘I love you' and agreeing to a mating contract. Like what?! Just no.

I really should have just skipped that one. I don't think this is one that really can be read as a standalone as you need so much background context about what is going on.

This story is pretty cute, sweet, and made me chuckle a few times. Poor Chance and his horrible luck.

Sweet, short, and adorable. Just absolutely lovely. I wish there was a bit more relationship building between the two because they still know nothing about one another, but for a novella that is about the beginning of a relationship??? It works. Definitely the reminder I needed to read more of this author.
