Honestly the characters are pissing me off. I really see where Kelsey's frustration is coming from with this date they are on. He doesn't want long-term, she does. This date is a waste of her time. Complaining about it though when you signed the contract, is annoying. JP is chauvinistic and annoying af. She said she didn't want to sleep with him, he's annoying her on purpose to keep her from liking him soooo of course he eggs her frustration on.
I think the reader is supposed to find some of this banter funny? But alas no I'm just frustrated. How unfortunate.

Gah. I HATE this one. I hate Kelsey so much. So very much. She's so insufferable and uninspiring and exhausting and judgemental and so many other things.

Furthermore, I just don't feel the connection between the two main characters. Zero chemistry. Did I mention I hate Kelsey? Yeah.

Who knew pigeons could be that effing adorable?

JP is a god damn sweet heart with a dirty talking mouth.

Tottttttalllyyyy get Kelsey's insecure moments but I think JP lifts her up in ways she didn't know she needed.

I love JP's character. He is relatable and funny and cute and sweet and a little cocky and sarcastic. His character development was really good. Kelsey needed to lighten up a little earlier than she did. I wish they would have communicated better.

The pigeon was hilarious and one of my favorite parts of the story. You just have to read to understand.

Please keep writing good books Meghan! I'm so excited to read more.

et's skip talking about how stupid and silly kelsey is, and the fact that jo couldn't understand that no, means no, at the start of the book, and let's appreciate three-chapters-later jp messing with kelsey till she was fuming 😂

i L A U G H E D so hard with this book, not even a not so meet cute made me laugh this hard, i guess kelsey's stupidity made it extra funny for me, sorry 😂

anyway, my poor baby jp 💔 i wanted to hug him so many times all throughout the book, because someone 👀 was so oblivious to him 🤦🏼‍♀️

anyway, it is a 4.5* but goodreads still hates me and doesn't let me add halves 🤷🏼‍♀️

Meh.... it has cute parts, but I stopped at about 80%. I just couldn't force myself to finish it.
