More silly dinosaur shifter fun! Not quite as enjoyable as [b:Smash & Grab 54500501 Smash & Grab (RELIC #1) Maz Maddox https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1594672581l/54500501.SY75.jpg 85020410], but there's nothing like your first dino-shifter, I guess. This time both MCs are shifters so there isn't that element of hiding or surprise like in Smash, but there are two alpha males (one grumpy and one charming) who play rough in all elements of their lives, which is always fun. The plot is pretty much just window dressing for the characters (seriously, they're fake fiancés and they don't even have one conversation about how they supposedly met?), but there is lots of action, sex, and humor. Plus I just love the batshit crazy premise that there are dinosaur shifters who were around 65 million years ago, went into hibernation when the meteor struck the earth, and just woke up 50 years ago as humans. I mean, why not? There are still at least 3 more members of RELIC who could potentially get their own books, and I am here for all of them.
