Pretty interesting Afro-futurism book. I'd never read anything by Okorafor, I'd try a few other titles. I'm not sure I understand the title of this book being Remote Control.

Yet another fantastic work by Nnedi Okorafor.

Well-written and intriguing, however ultimately it felt like only part of a story.

A small book about the adopted daughter of death and her fox. The story is simple and silent. There are no complicated plot or complex characters. But it's mystifying all the same.
If you want to have a quick read, then this is a recommendation.

It was a good novella that I enjoyed reading. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a good quick story with some sci Fi elements.

I feel like I missed something to fully understand what is going on in this book?
But that's a me-problem, overall it was a pretty enjoyable read, 3.5/5 stars.

This was great! I have so many questions but I loved Sankofa. I hope there are more stories about her!

I see why this popped up on so many lists at the same time. Short, different and memorable.

The first chapter of this book is perfect. I'd love to teach it as an example of how to introduce characters and settings without being entirely direct or giving too much away.
