Pretty fun read being apart of a generational story the time skips were appreciated. However in the same light I don't feel like any of the characters had a chance to truly grow.

Good read

I really enjoyed the book by its end, but admit I had trouble getting into the writing style and the audio narration of the book.

This was also my first D&D related novel and felt like I was missing a ton of background information by jumping in here.


However, the portral of the various forms of magic was fantastic, as was how they dealt with spell slots. By the end of the book the story had came together impressively well and made the scattered plots meld together.

This book helped me put a lot of things in perspective for me during a rather difficult time personally. I read it on a whim and was not despointed in the slightness. I will always recommend reading it to anyone who wants to understand how it feels to struggle with deep chronic depression.

This was a fantastic foray into sci-fi that deals with political intrigue. The two cultures that we experience were different enough thst they truly did feel alien to each despite being human. I loom forward to the next book.

This is my first time reading any of Neil Gaiman's works. I really did enjoy the book Neil's ability to describe everything is great and putting yourself in thr moment like you were truly there. What I struggled with is just the story itself, which really didn't pick up until towards the end. I just didn't think the story flowed all too well at points and the book fell a little flat.

Still would recommend the book, and will be reading Neverwhere next personally.
