An interesting idea. The characters weren't always very realistic or developed.

I don't know if I didn't like this very much because I don't read a lot of middle grade or what. Probably I just didn't like it. It felt very “problem novel” in a bad way and like a square adult trying to figure out what kids these days like.

I could go on about nitpicking things I didn't like but I won't.
