I really liked the book at first, but the ending came a bit out of left field. There were also a lot of red herrings that never really got resolved and didn't seem to add much to the plot. The writing was well done and the first half of the book was interesting though!
3.75⭐️That ending?! Wow. I was engaged the whole time and definitely didn’t see that twist coming. Read while listening to the audio. Just when I thought I had it figured out… nope! It wasn’t perfect, but it kept me turning the pages and guessing the whole way through. Solid read!
Captivating. A little hard to follow all of the characters and all of their roles in the storytelling. Still one of my top thrillers so far; it stayed curious from cover to cover.
Suspense Kick BOOK ONE!
definitely had a more simplistic writing style than some other books I've enjoyed, but it was what I wanted and fulfilled by reading wish! I wanted twisty, and easy to read, and that is what I got :) I think there were definitely some plot holes (i see you other negative reviews) but I think it was very fun to read and I'm glad I did!!
Holyyyyy shit I couldn't put this down. I will say due to the structure of the book I had a guess of who did it early on but I didn't actually guess how until 75% of the way in. There were some aspects of the plot I didn't think were necessary and just cluttered the story but overall very well executed and definitely recommend.
This book took me on such a wild ride! This is my favorite book I've read so far! If you love mystery/thrillers, this one is a must! I read it in about 24 hours!
Not the worst mystery thriller out there but certainly nowhere near the best. Very naive and dumb characters with a lot of irritating decisions from them. A ton of needless “plot” filler just to confused and eat up book pages. There was no need for delilah fake out except for to delay the “big” reveal that it was bee all along. I'd say more but honestly this book isn't worth the time to write a serious review. Mid at best, don't waste your time
I finally had to read this one because I feel like it's one of the Booktube gold standard thrillers. And while it wasn't the 5 star I was hoping for, it didn't disappoint.
I see why so many people love this one. It's extremely well written and even though I wasn't jaw droppingly shocked by all of the reveals I certainly did not see some of them coming. This was a good one.
One of the best books I've ever read. It kept me guessing all the way through, the ending was a shock and absolutely mind bogglingly fantastic. 12/10 just read it.
DNF audiobook at 50%. The premise was interesting, but it just felt like it dragged on and on I was bored
3.5 it was a good, easy read, however a couple huge plot holes. What about autopsy results? They didn't match what happens in the story. Also Kate and Meredith are so oblivious and unsuspecting. Their inner monologues were so frustrating - I literally facepalmed at a certain point lol.
I loved this book!!! 10/10! It kept me hook from page one. There were many twists throughout that kept me wanting more. Seeing what other people were seeing and thinking in their POVs was chefs kiss perfect. The ending I was not expecting whatsoever. Highly recommend!!!
tell me why - these writers give up in last two chapters. this isn't even the first time i am dealing with this. you spend (and make me spend) all this time to deliver a lack luster ending insulting both our effort, why?!
very end fell a little flat for me but i was otherwise INVESTED the entire time
E ainda bem.
A THRILLER THAT ACTUALLY MAKES ME FEEL THINGS
brooooooo i read everything d'une traite c'est incroyable
this is such a good book with a nice writing style (was too descriptive at time but i skipped allat so
Is Mary Kubica my new favorite author? Possibly. This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time and I didn't see those twists coming at all. READ IT.

NEW ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOK WHAT? Coming into this I was very skeptical but was I wrong. This story had me hooked from the beginning. I have come to realize missing person is my favorite trope in a book. The suburban vibes of these are my absolute favorites and the ending was so so good and I did not see it comimg. Wow I just love this book definitely top 5 I have ever read and maybe my favorite of the year so far
