This is the cutest story EVER! I loved every page of this. Charlie and Nick are so sweet.
Can't wait to read the next volumes!
I have binge read all of these graphic novels (up til #4) in one night and if I needed to give one word that describes my feelings toward this series... OBSESSED I am absolutely OBSESSED. As a bisexual girl seeing a character that I can relate to this much is amazing. Thank you!

Por fin me lo he leído en físico.
I have been wanting to read this series since the first one released but I kept putting them off because I wanted to have all of them so I could binge read them but I have finally read the first one. The hype for this series is crazy. Heck I was hyping it before I even read it. I think I let the hype get to me. While I did enjoy this book I wasn't as blown away by it as I expected to be. It's definitely very cute and the graphics are amazing but I was expecting to want to immediately jump into the next book and that's just not the case. I am ok with not having the other books to binge back to back. Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed this story and I can't wait to continue on with the series to find out what happens next.

So, as I mentioned when I first read these, I enjoyed them, but I didn't love them like everybody else seemed to. I thought they were all cute and sweet, but I let the hype get to me a little bit.
Then came the adaptation. If you haven't read my thoughts on the Netflix adaptation you can do so by clicking here but in summary watching it is what fully immersed me in the story. It brought it to life for me. The adaptation pretty much followed the graphic novels word for word with a few minor differences.
When I reread it the second time, I loved it so much more than I did the first time. It's so hard to explain how much of difference there was for me between reads. Everything was just amplified in a sense. Ugh I feel like I am not doing this series justice because I am horrible at putting my thoughts into words especially when I loved something as much as I did this series.
I've never had a comfort read book/series, but this has definitely become that for me even though it deals with heavy topics it does it in a way that is hopeful, and I just love it. I can't wait for the 5th vol to come out but at the same time I am sad because I don't want Nick and Charlies story to ever end.

Simple and relatively sweet, will definitely be an easy sell for teens, and as an added bonus, they'll learn some British slang too. I liked the chill simplicity of Oseman's black/grey/green color palette. I do wish that the romance didn't hinge on Nick rescuing Charlie from relationship violence, with that violence repeating over and over again.
I thought this was really cute! It honestly exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to pick up the sequel.
My one complaint was that it ended so abruptly and I was a bit thrown off by that. No worries though! I will simply need to order the next one ASAP.
This graphic novel is so, so cute. It is heartbreaking as well though. So, I found myself laughing and then groaning from the pain my heart was in.
The characters are lovely, but the growing and learning not only about the world, but about themselves. They are sweet and adorable and gosh darn it all I just want them to be happy!
I'm very much looking forward to volume 2 and plan on buying the entire series for my library.

This was literally adorable! I love the interactions between the two main characters. I also like the things they are both dealing with related to their sexuality. It makes it seem a lot more realistic and less perfect.
This was a very sweet romance! I wasn't expecting the cliffhanger so that was jarring.
I really liked the art but did have some trouble distinguishing Ben and Nick at first.
And now I have a toothache.
No but seriously, this is every bit as disgustingly cute as everyone says it is. It'll make you smile and feel all sorts of happy for the boys and their burgeoning romance.
It doesn't have any real plot or story arc like you'd expect in a traditional graphic novel, and I'd probably knock off an extra star if I didn't know this was originally a web comic. I'm not personally a fan of the art style.
It's cute. It's sweet. The main characters are stereotypes but written to be extremely likeable. I'll definitely continue on with the series the next time I need to thaw my cold heart.
