2.5 stars rounded down because I skimmed the last 5 or so chapters and just kept repeating “no.”
I wanted to love this so much and in the beginning I thought it was exactly what I wanted. Nothing makes sense, though. She “sees the real them” but absolutely does not as Grant completely surprises her when he shows his true self. Rafe makes stupid choices that don't make sense with his character, or they do but the author decides things need to speed up eventually and sprints instead of continuing the long game. Although the long game was “ignore her and wonder why she's falling for the other guy” which obviously is a horrible plan?? Don't even get me started on the whole Jasmine thing...


Just... so bummed.
