I CANT BELIEVE IM OBSESSED WITH COWBOYS NOW, FUCK MY LIFE I LIVE IN BRAZIL HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FALL IN LOVE WITH A COWBOY NOW?
I'll be honest, I've had high hopes for this book. But maybe it's just too much. So I'm left here feeling... Nothing. Didn't meet my expectation.
It's a straightforward romance with kinda cringe-inducing moments. It's an okay read. Just did not do anything to my inside.
rhett. F*CKIN' RHETT. okay, for starters, i'm so upset it took me this long to start this series because now i'm completely hooked. i read the last like 350 pages in one sitting because i just couldn't put my kindle down. i love rhett so much & can't wait to meet everyone else in their own books. i'm especially excited for cade's book because luke??? adorable.
i loved the added plot of summer's past with rob. i think we're all in agreement that rob sucks. i really hope that summer & winter can work things out but i do understand winter needing space.
i really really love rhett. when he moved her so that he was on the traffic side while walking... that's when i fell in love because my boyfriend does that constantly. i'm never allowed to walk on the side that cars are even in parking lots.
i don't know if any of the other mmc's will top rhett but i'm excited to find out. 😏
5 Stars
I loved it. Great back story lines, side characters, character development, and romance. Rhett Eaton and Summer! I loved them, they were funny and witty.
“Having you think I'm out fucking everything that moves when I've looked at nothing and no one since the first day I laid eyes on you. I stepped into that godforsaken boardroom, and you practically demanded I become obsessed with you.”
I see why this book has been all over booktube, it was so cute, and homey. I loved it.
“Choosing each other. Finding each other. Showing up for each other. And everything about the moment is flawless.”
When i started reading this, I had literally thought: why can't there be a romance that i can simply love without hating it for obscene contents, where it's two adults who respect each other and make it work.
And well, yeehaw? I guess because it delivered. The author has perfectly named it flawless, because it is just that: perfect. Of course, some might find flaws but it was perfect for me.
This romance was super cliché. Too much sexual scenes and few actual character development. It was fun, but nothing special.
I love the Yellowstone vibes! It was a really good, really sweet story. The ending was kind of hallmarky which normally gives me the ick, but I really enjoyed it. Can't wait for the next one! I love them together.
their “chemistry” is just Rhett sexualizing Summer at all times. his every thought is basically “she is so smart and wonderful and talented ... wish she would suck my cock”
Obsessed doesn't begin to cover it. I devoured this book.
Like my heart is so full. Rhett can GET IT. What a sexy cowboy.
In need of an image boost, Summer is tasked with being his “babysitter” to ensure he is on his best behaviour.
While on the road together, they end up having to share a hotel room. Only one bed.
But things don't stop there. Stolen glances, sweet words, kind gestures. Slowly but surely, these two form a connection.
summer needs to maintain professionalism, but why try to stop true love? They are soulmates.
Of course there is family drama that causes a rift, but man oh man.
Love this book.

I'm grateful to have read “[b:Flawless 60755618 Flawless (Chestnut Springs, #1) Elsie Silver https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1653054148l/60755618.SY75.jpg 95796965]” by [a:Elsie Silver 21312387 Elsie Silver https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1617459113p2/21312387.jpg] because now I know which kind of book does not really appeal to me: Rich daddy's princess meets bull-riding cowboy in this steamy (borderline pornographic) rural romance and that's pretty much it for the story. It's all just a bit too much over the top for: Summer is our princess, whose sister is called Winter. Summer is nice and warm and a people-pleaser whereas Winter is cold as ice. Not to mention Summer's evil step-mother!Lots of manly cowboys, sports legends, and ranchers are around, every man is tough, every woman is swooning. Summer desires to be - brace yourself! - “marked” by her cowboy Rhett...Rhett in turn obligingly is of the possessive variety... »She better be naked. Naked and ready.«... and the resulting smut is, uh, verbose. (Even, though, that is, admittedly, the least of my complaints.)The entire picture that Silver paints of people is approaching painful levels of machismo and it depicts a rather simplistic view of the world as a whole.I do not expect much of a romance but I do expect more than just horny cowboys, willing women and a bit of drama.Still: Three out of five stars because among all the eye-roll-inducing stuff lurk some ideas and observations that I can relate to...»“When you have a kid, everyone warns you about the sleepless nights. The explosive diaper changes. How they grow so fast that you hemorrhage money on clothing them. What they don't tell you is that you'll never spend another day of your life without worrying about another person. You'll never completely relax again because that person you created will always, always be on your mind. You'll wonder where they are, what they're doing, and if they're okay.”«Blog Facebook Twitter Instagram Pinterest Medium Matrix TumblrCeterum censeo Putin esse delendam
Spoiler-Free Review:
Elsie Silver does it again! First, I would like to thank Elsie Silver for an ARC of this book. If you're a fan of the Gold Rush Ranch series, go ahead and preorder this book right now! Flawless is the first book in the author's brand new series, Chestnut Springs. The same small town romance vibes and steamy romance but in a new place and with a new cast of characters. This story follows professional bull rider, Rhett, who is kind of a loose cannon. Enter Summer, his agent's daughter, who is assigned to keep Rhett in line for the time leading up to the championship event. Elsie creates the most dreamy male main characters, and Rhett is no exception. Summer is a girl with a strong personality who absolutely can hold her own. The banter between these two is chef's kiss so damn good. There were so many times I laughed out loud at witty comments or texts that they exchanged. Summer's relationship with her father is another thing I adored about this story. They share such a special bond, and the author portrayed that perfectly. This book is a forced proximity romance with exquisite sexual tension, and the pay off is HOT. So many scenes will absolutely live rent free in my head. Do you like a one-bed moment? Because Flawless has that too! Flawless releases 6/24/2022 and preorder is available now. This is an adult romance, 18+ for language and sexual content.
