Was a cute second chance romance.
Was hoping for some more angst, as this was very low key with the drama.
Love the Thomas girls and their friendship! Hawk is a sweet guy, and always loved Everly after all the time apart. She tends to run when things get tough, but after they get the opportunity to work together, he won't let her run away again. Gahhh
Okay I am writing this book four stars but I'm not actually sure it's worthy of four stars. To be honest it is a little Bland as there's not a lot going on but I feel like the romance was pretty adorable and maybe it's because I'm an emotional mood right now but I think it's just what I needed to read. I tried to read the book previous to this in a series and I dnf'd it. I'm definitely going to give the third book a go because this one just did it for me. If you're looking for something exciting to get you going this is not the book for you but if you just want a really sweet Second Chance Romance with a bit of spice then this is for you.
Honestly, I kind of just read this book so I wouldn't miss anything about the other characters. I like the series, but this book wasn't really doing much for me. I give it a 3.5/5 stars. There was some real cheesy-ness going on, which normally I don't hate, but it kinda kept happening. The ending was cute, but I feel like that didn't have much to do with the main characters. Not a bad book at all, just not the story for me. Off to Ash and Jace's book!
Ahhhh another win by Laura Pavlov! I'm seriously loving this small town romance rabbit hole. Ever Mine is the second installment in the Honey Mountain series, and it follows Everly and Hawk. Everly is Vivian's older sister and a sports therapist, and Hawk is a professional hockey player and Everly's ex. When their worlds collide, feelings start to redevelop. Both of them have to overcome roadblocks to find their way back to each other. This book is a second-chance romance with some amazing tension! And y'all, Hawk is
