Archie (2015-) #1

Love the art style. The storyline itself is alright.

Well, I can't say I enjoy the heavy focus on relationships - or the horrific ship name Bettchie - but I had my suspicions going into this that I'd just have to deal with that since it's a staple of the old comics as well as the latter seasons of the televised series. Overall, I liked it well enough and really enjoyed the art style. It has issues, like a vaguely explained breakup which makes basically no sense at all, but it held my interest enough to forgive that.

Getting to see the very first incarnation of Archie comics at the end was fascinating, as well. I sure am glad for the changes made to later issues, but it's fun to see where it all began.
