Haar schrijfstijl is niet te omschrijven zo mooi. Belangrijk politiek literair stuk, belangrijk om ook in je achterhoofd te houden wanneer dit precies ja geschreven. Omdat sommige stukken vandaag een beetje achterhaald zijn of gewoon te simpel zijn.

I'm not sure if it's comforting or disturbing that the frustrations of a woman from over a hundred years ago are still relatable and relevant today. I enjoyed this in the same way I enjoy The Bell Jar - it makes me feel understood.

Although it was sometimes hard to follow Woolf's wandering hypotheticals and stream of consciousness pages, it was definitely an interesting read. It's fascinating to see all of the things that have still not improved for women since 1929, with no real end in sight.
