I love all of Colleen Hoover's books and this one is no exception.
Tate is an independence young woman, except when it comes to Miles, her brother's tortured and complex best friend who lives across the hall.
Miles has a LOT of baggage from the past (and we get to see that in alternating points of view, with his 6 years earlier.)
A lot of steam in this one and I really wanted Miles to get his act together, which he finally does.
Another page turner from Colleen.
I write books for a living. I have read thousands of books in my lifetime.
Falling would have to be one of THE BEST I've ever read for sheer compulsive page-turning.
I didn't want to put it down.
The stakes get higher with every scene.
Bill, a pilot, has to make an impossible choice. Save his family from terrorists by crashing the plane he's flying and killing 143 innocent passengers.
What happens next is just mind-glowingly good.
I will be recommending this book to everyone I know, it is THAT GOOD!!!!!!!
BRILLIANT!
(As an author of 78 published books, I'm in awe that this is T.J. Newman's debut. Filled with admiration and inadequacy!)
I gave this book 5 stars for the sheer readability factor.
One of those easy-reading page-turners you don't want to put down and I read it in a day.
The plot twists are fairly easy to pick and there are trigger subjects throughout, but watching the lives of Pam, Tully, Rachel, the younger wife Heather and Stephen unfold is like watching a juicy soap opera.
You want to discover how it all ends.
Thomas, Viv, Eli and Tarryn appear like the perfect family outwardly but each member is hiding secrets that could be responsible for them being targeted by petty acts of vandalism to their home that escalates.
I turned pages rapidly to discover who was behind it all.
But if you don't enjoy cliffhangers (albeit a mini one) you've been warned.
This is brilliant.
The second book of Robert's I've read and this one contains just as much gold as Ads Unleashed.
It's changed how I look at blurbs and I've spent the last 8 hours tweaking mine, with many to go.
Interesting, that after 77 books published, I thought I knew how to write a good blurb. With a reference like this, I can do so much better!
Thanks for a great reference.
This started off as a slow burn for me but when the flames between spoilt rich girl Piper and small town fisherman Brendan ignited...kapow! I was fully invested.
A great enemies to lovers tale that swept me into the romance.
Brendan made the book for me. A rough around the edges hero who encapsulates chivalry in every way.
Loved it!
I love how Nicole Trope takes everyday situations and turns them into dark and menacing.
Katherine and her twins are trapped inside their own house by a madman for an entire day in steamy Sydney. It doesn't end well.
I only picked the twist early because I write in this genre and I think my mind is trained that way. Didn't diminish my enjoyment one bit.
Trigger warning
Domestic violence
I've spent a lot of time over the last year trying to get a handle on Amazon ads via courses, resources, etc...reading this book really opened my eyes to how wrong I've been doing things.
After 18 years in the industry, 77 books published, I'm looking forward to implementing these tips.
I'll need to re-read first to absorb it all. So good.
