A clean YA with interesting characters and a mystery to solve.
Not usually a fan of cliffhangers but this one will lead into the next book nicely.

Bought this when it first released and has been on my TBR pile for a while.
Loved The Hunger Games trilogy so was looking forward to this to gain more insight into President Snow and the story provides that.
It took a few odd twists I didn't expect.

This one kicked into high gear about half way through and the action really ramped up.
Flew through it to the end.

A lovely read, based on a true story of the author's Japanese grandmother and Australian grandfather during WW2.

I'm blown away by Sara Ochs debut because I didn't pick the final twist!
As an author who writes in this genre, I can usually see twists early in the story but not with this one. I thought I had it figured out several times but...TA DA! Ochs is a master at crafting a compelling read.
I'll be reading more from her.

My first Sandy Barker book and definitely not my last.
From the moment I started reading I was captivated by the author's uniquely refreshing voice.
Filled with snark and sass, Abby's tales of being on The Stag (The Bachelor fans will love this!) and falling for Jack, the producer, are sheer feel-good fun.
Thoroughly enjoyed it!

As a huge fan of Cobra Kai, this was a fascinating insight into The Karate Kid universe and the characters within it.

Like many, I watched the Netflix series first then picked up the book, and I adore them both.
I can identify with Simon, the duke, from personal experience, and all his insecurities.
Daphne is a witty, bold heroine who's perfect for him.
