See allI liked it more than Me Before You, actually I feel not ashamed if I say loved it. An adventure already begun slowly in the prior book, goes on at a faster face and plays with all your feelings: grief, sadness, bewilderness, enigmatic wonders, being judged, feeling responsible, feeling betrayed and anger, fear and fuzziness and even stress and action. I guess I did not let myself to have enough pleasure reading the last two chapters trying to finish it so that I could carry the next book (Still Me) with me while going out this afternoon and these two chapters were marvelous! Loved them and I like to reread them at a more peaceful state later.
I would like to copy/paste some of my thoughts and feelings I had expressed earlier during my reading experience here:

Easy in terms of language for a non-English speaker with a limited set of vocabulary and written is such a way I feel I'm actually hear it in a sweet British accent as I'm reading it.”

And as I told before: reading it is great pleasure which makes you want to do it. Not a process by which you try to continue what you started to end, not like the one I have now with The Stand. although The Stand has its own moments but this one is full of moments!”

I've reached -I guess- the first chapter of this kind in this one and it is interesting ...“

98.3% “Although I did not need even a single sheet of tissue while reading Me Before You (it was suggested it should be sold with a pack of tissues!), I admit that I may needed some while reading chapter 29 of After You. Accompanying people who now I know and know each one have a burden of a great loss in their life and being in a moment of them speaking of their loss was tearfully nice!”
Somehow a random book I selected to read in my holidays, I'm happy that it was a good choice. As Vince himself states when he mentions his encounter with teenage Iraqi boy who become joyful when he receives a small eraser he had luck to be born and live in the greatest country of the world. But his luck does not guarantee his hassle free and comfortable life. He has his big set of problems which he should overcome with help of his family and other people around him. Liked the book very much.
I'm happy now to not let go of it when I've reached 20 percent of this fabulous novel and was not happy about it.
It is a great work filled with knowledge and research specially about Spain. Although its story is a bit predictable IMHO and even its final twist was something I had managed to guess earlier but it is an amusing and entertaining novel.
I had not read other works of Dan Brown, although I've saw some scenes of The Da Vinci Code the movie -which made me picture Robert Langdon the way Tom Hanks looks- it was a complete and independent novel for me without making me feel I'm missing things because I had not read the earlier novels.
I tried and read Alchemist and decided that Coelho is not my favorite writer at the moment. But I decided to try this book because I was looking for some kind of biography which I like. Although it wasn't what I hoped and began to regret my choice in the middle and even was about to abandon the book, I liked how it continued and ended. More of a love story at the end accompanying stories from some other characters it was a good read at the end.
I am very glad that this is the first book I've finished in 2019. I recommend my every friend to read this book and learn how to live from this great person.
