This is the second book this year that I rated with one star, and it's only March. This book was not worth my time. I thought it was going to be about a hippie, but was it? It's like a memoir, but not really, as there was never any real detail given about much. There were a few places mentioned where this person traveled, but not enough detail about any location. And there was a girlfriend, but I wasn't sure if there was more than one, because the author often used “my girlfriend” at places where a name might have been better. At the end, I felt there wasn't a real story, and I didn't get any closure.

I looked at reviews after deciding how I would review. There are some people who rated this very high. But it appears that many have read other books by this author and based their opinions on them. Not sure I would read others by this author after this one.
