Listened to as an audiobook. Don't know if I'd have finished if I'd have read it as an actual book. Very long and lots of description but enough story to keep my attention... just

Very evocative of the time and a gripping storyline to keep interest until the end of the book.

Loved this book. So twisted but funny too. Loved the ending. Defo worth a read - I couldn't put it down.

Fascinating to read about Giles journey through auditioning and eventually performing in Hamilton. Having seen him
Perform in the show it helped me understand the character more and appreciate just how much work goes in to staging these shows .

Really interesting book, multi layered and colourful

Took me a bit to get in to the book but once I got in to it I enjoyed the book. Poignant and thought provoking.

Stephen Fry manages to take a subject that could be dry and dull and make it interesting and accessible, no mean feat. I read the book whilst on holiday in Greece which helped me enjoy the book a little more

Heartwarming and enjoyable. Couldn't ask for more

Ridiculous book, a drag to read. Predictable and childish characters

A nice story, but found I didn't get in to it as much as I did with ‘The Lido' which I loved.

Amazing book, absolutely loved it. Beautifully written, just perfect.

Very clever, lots of plot twists kept me hooked until the end.

I enjoyed this book, quirky and intriguing.

I really enjoyed this book, having wanted to read it for a long time I borrowed it from the library. Raynor aeon writes in an easy to read style and I felt invested in her story.

Enjoyed this book, story kept me hooked throughout.

I found it interesting learning about the lives of those who were the victims of Jack the Ripper. An interesting piece of social history.

I enjoyed this book, gutsy and nice to have a feisty older character in it.

inspired me to book a trip to a greek island.

I loved this book, have read it twice now over the years. Engrossing and heartbreaking story with a hopeful ending.
