perfect holiday reading, easy going and feel good.

The premise of this book is good, and several of the biographies are uplifting and interesting, however many of them feel quite heavy and academic to read- as if they were written for an academic audience rather than a more general readership.

I unexpectedly enjoyed this book. Heartwarming and cosy.

Informative and engaging. Not my usual reading material but Palin writes in a way that is accessible to someone with very little knowledge of the subject.

I couldn't put this book down- gripping right until the end.

I almost gave up on this which is unusual for me, but ploughed on and begrudgingly finished it.... No idea what this book is about.

Such a great book for any fan of Dave Ghrol/Foo fighters. I found myself having to put the book down at multiple points and search out the musicians or the song's he wrote about to accompany the book. Perfect .
