I reread this because I wanted to refresh my memory before I read the second book in the series. It was still just as good the second time around. I'd forgotten how much I loved Keira, Zoe. Mason and Adage.

I wanted to like this more. However, it falls flat. I thought Quincy was boring and adding Sam to the mix didn't make it much more exciting.

I read Gemma Files short story in a horror collection and loved it. I was hoping for more of that caliber but unfortunately, most of the stories were just okay.

I don't know what category to put this in. I read the “Baroness” sequence and enjoyed it immensely.I might go back and just read it like a normal book from cover to cover. This is the story of a lifetime. Actually I should say lifetimes.

This one starts slow but I finally got into the story about half way through. I was hoping for another like Uprooted which I loved, but still an interesting mix of fairy tales.

This was a pretty good book. I think the only thing I didn't like was the fact that I knew what was going to be the “surprise” pretty early on. The main character is likable and you are hoping that she finds peace. I do like how it left the story open ended sort of with the epilogue.

This book starts really slow. The main character is barely tolerable. The second half is better which is why I gave it 2 stars. Maybe this book is for someone else but I just thought it was okay at best.

I admit when it comes to YA John Green usually does it well. This time I feel he knocked it out of the park. Love love love this book.

I don't know if I was expecting better things from this book because of the rave reviews but I found it to be okay. Not WOW not bad but somewhere in the middle.

The writing style was fine, the subject matter was okay it's just a personal freak out disgusting thing that predicted the end made me REALLY dislike this book. Trigger warning sexual abuse of children.

Sweet magical realism that feels like a fairy tell.
