The Girl Before

Gone Girl meets 50 shades both of which I didn't like. A book about abuse and the characters I didn't feel one iota of warmth, worry or anything like you're supposed to when reading about psychological abuse victims in fiction. This book was an almost did not finish but I stuck it out hoping it would eventually not annoy me so much. Alas, it annoyed me until the end.
