I read the main X-Men books from 1975 till about 2010. This book starts to get into that part of the story.
It tries (and mostly succeeds) to straighten out the convoluted story lines in the X-Men books.
I think it's retconning the Phoenix story a bit, but I like t he way he's doing that.
If you are a fan of the X-Men from the old days, I recommend this book.
