Wranglestone

This was... unexpected. Very unexpected. But it was a fun read, for the most part, the writing was good (meaning, it painted the story clear enough, beautiful enough, but not excelling, tho, for my taste, and I also got a bit lost, confused at times about what was going on), I wasn't feeling the love story, it felt sudden, undercooked, but maybe it was just me who am not feeling it at this moment; on the zombie-adventure part the story was interesting and I'd say the part that sustained everything else. And as I've never read a story like this one before, I'll give it an extra thumbs up for originality. Looking forward to read the continuation.

I thought I would love this but halfway through I just wanted to DNF it. To me it was very slow and it got boring real quick which is sad cause I really wanted to love it. But I loved the beginning!

This was a pretty fun read, picked it up based off a recommendation for “cozy” post-zombie story whcih this book didn't quite meet in my opinion, but what I got was a pretty thrilling read for a short book.

Bonus points for a gay romance which was just presented like a normal, refreshing part of life.

Interesting story with a sweet gay couple, although the ending was very unexpected and felt like it happened a bit too quickly. There wasn't really a forewarning to the big reveal of the Returnees so it felt quite rushed, but other than that, I really enjoyed it!
