Wow, the smut be smuttin' with this one but I loved their relationship so much 😍 loved the way he became a dad and ugh, just yes, will be moving in with the series for sure!

Damn, the chemistry and banter between Rosie and Ford is adorable! 🤍 I was immediately drawn in by these characters and their stories. Elsie Silver never seems to fail entertaining me. 😊 I will always love a bad-ass FMC and a MMC that can’t seem to stay away. I cannot wait to continue with this series and hopefully see some familiar faces. 😉
The books was dull and imaginative. Characters were adults but acted childish. Would not recommend.
This book was so damn fun. The spice, the small fights, the romance .... chef's kiss. This is an easy 5⭐ read.
Rosie was like a side character in this- she was fine but a bit bratty at times.

hmmm i expected a lot more, it was actually kind of disappointing. I usually love books where he falls first and harder but this one didn´t make me feel a thing. at all.
well... actually i´ll take that back, it made me laught every now and then, and i liked that he had a daughter
but it felt plain. it was too much and at the same time it lacked something
i don´t think i'm making any sense, so i´ll explain briefly. SPOILERS!!!!!
Rosie is a small-town girl who moved to the city for college, got her master's, got into a relationship, and later got a job. buuut one day her boss touched her inappropriately, and before she could report it to HR, they fired her. Rosie and her boyfriend are not really in love. she goes back to her hometown (Rose Hill).
aand there, she reconnects with her brother's best friend, Ford, whom she hadn't seen in 10 years, (she thought he was her nemesis ´cause they would always argue and make each other mad).
Ford is a billionaire and son of a musician. growing up he used to spend his vacations on Rose Hill since he lived in the city but after creating his business he decided to live there. He has been in love with her since they were kids. He found out he had a 12-year-old daughter around the same time Rosie came back, and Cora (his daughter) started living with him.
Rosie started working with him, connected with his daughter and they got together, then married. The end.
it was spicy tho (unpopular opinion: it don't like spicy books cause i think it´s boring)

I cannot believe that I am rating an Elsie Silver book so low. I was so excited for Willa's brother. Not that his character was bad. Just different than my expectations.
I didn't overly like Rosie, I struggled to like her character at all.
A solid 3.5!
This was a classic Elsie Silver book, and it was enjoyable.
I loved the unconventional way Ford is a dad. Cora is awesome, and her sly and dark humour is great.
Ford has pined HARD for Rosie over the years, his best friends sister. He's held a torch for her for a long time and continues to be there and do anything for her happiness. She's a sweet, albeit clueless guy at times but who isn't.
The two had banter for as long as they have been around each other.
It takes Rosie a long time to notice ford as he is. He's been there but she hasn't seen him in a romantic light. I don't think she does now either, there wasn't a ton of romantic chemistry for her. He was there. He was attractive. He did nice things. She trusts him. But I felt like that was it.
The lock necklace was next level. He's always held a candle for her.
