Elena MacKinnon has spent the last seven years training to become a proper English lady. I had fun reading this cute little novella. It didn't go super deep into anything (especially at the end there) but I'm not mad about it because it's the kind of fluffy sweet story I wanted right now.
I guess this is like a prequel to the other books? Not sure if I'll get to them but it did get me somewhat invested in the other characters too, so maybe.
Fun little novella with a satisfying ending. At first the info dumping near the beginning felt stiff and off-putting but as soon as that was complete and the story got on into its present timeline, it was truly a delightful little tale.
