Definitely legally blonde vibes, impeccable revenge and an amazing main guy that will almost give you hope for humanity! Great Xmas romance for all the girls who've been told they're too much!

That was so good!!
I was being a little apprehensive going into this book because I had already read one book by this author and hated it. But this one was brilliant!
Abbie gets dumped by her long-time boyfriend for being "not serious enough" so she decides on a perfect revenge: sleep with his boss and go to the annual Christmas party, showing him what he lost in the process.
I enjoyed it. Abbie was so good and her realising she lost herself and trying to get herself back was very real. Her insecurities driven into her by Dick were very relatable and I LOVED how gone Damien was for her, helping her through and telling her how beautiful she is.
Damien was such a good book boyfriend. He was so obsessed with her from the get go but in a good way. He encouraged Abbie to be herself and be unapologetic about it, and he was supportive and understanding. I was so afraid he was gonna get mad with her for lying but I'm happy about the way it was all resolved.
I wish Abbie would have told him at the very beginning, I'm sure he would have helped her out since he hated Richard too. And them sleeping together would be a bonus, but he would have known where she stood since the beginning. Alas, we didn't get that, but at the very least we also didn't get a third act breakup so that's good.
It was a VERY spicy book. Some dialogue during the spicy scenes didn't work for me but it was enjoyable otherwise. I loved how obsessed they both were - and when Abbie cooked for Damien and he was so gone for her oh my god. Nice.
Overall it was a very good book, perfect for Legally Blonde fans. I'm interested to read about Abbie's sister now too - I wish she was more present in the book. Cami annoyed me with her "yes screw Damien over, he's just as bad as Richard' attitude so I'm not sure if I want to read her book but we'll see.
This book encouraged me to give Morgan Elizabeth a chance. I hated The Playlist with passion, but perhaps not all of her books are bad.
This was a fun book to read. I really enjoyed it. I borrowed it via Kindle Unlimited and read it on my iPad utilizing the Kindle app. I hope to leave a more detailed review later.

Now that I've completed the Seasons of Revenge series, thus far, I have to say that this first book was my most favorite. The MCs were both likable and that gave me a more vested interest in seeing what happens to them both. I also loved seeing the FMC get revenge on her jerk of an ex. I'll definitely be recommending this to friends.
Cheesy, but I ate this up.
The dirty talk on this man is next level. Holy crap.
too much smut for too little drama imo
this book was like 90% happy and fluffy i like more chaos
This was a book club book for the month of December. It was a really good book! It's around 300 pages so it gets right to the point and doesn't have a lot of fluff which worked well for the story. I love Damien. That is all.
Tis the Season for Revenge by Morgan Elizabeth was such a fun read! I binged it all in one night and ate up every bit of what she was serving in this seasonal novel. I say seasonal, but it very mildly holiday and I think it could be enjoyed any time of year. This book follows Abigail and Damien. Y'all— Damien

Liked this book, but I felt like Damien controlling just like Richard. He told Abbie what to do so often, telling her she wasn't being herself. I also felt like he didn't validate her insecure feelings. Sometimes all it takes is, “it's okay to feel that way” and that helps. Overall an easy and quick read with a lot of positivity and fun going on.
