Hmm nee dit was het ‘m niet voor mij. Leest wel makkelijk, snel en redelijk vermakelijk. Een beetje voorspelbaar is niet erg maar deze was zo basic en voordpelbaar dat ik hem vooral gewoon uit wilde hebben zodat ik weer verder kon met m'n leven.

Love what the author said in her acknowledgments about wanting to have fun writing a book that readers could then have fun reading - this was exactly that! 

3.5/5 overall I thoroughly enjoyed but it took a bit for me to get into it and the main character's best friend was legitimately so annoying for the first half of the book

I was skeptical to read this book, as I didn't enjoy Carly's first book, however, I love this.

I loved the setting, the plot, the characters. No one annoyed me, a huge feat!

The PEI map and all the places mentioned was fun, and since I read it while visiting the island, it made it feel more special.

I need to visit PEI again!!!!

I forgot how fun it is to crush an entire book on a Sunday afternoon. This was a delight and so happy place coded. Perf summer read!

I absolutely adored this story from beginning to end! My favorite Carley Fortune by far.
