The Wingman

“Are you a wizard?” Rory asks, crooking a surprised smile at me.
“No.” I chuckle. “Just a dork, I guess.”

Let me start off by saying that I LOVE Stephanie Archer books. The Queen's cover series? One of my favourite go to ever! Behind the net? LOVED! That being said this book just wasn't it for me. It took me a very long time to get throu. I found myself frustrated with the characters consistently throughout. I talked myself out of DNFing it multiple times. I'm giving it 3 stars but that could be generous. 

Darcy and Hayden are perfectly matched. I appreciate she's a successful woman in stem and he's supportive of her at all times. Friends to lovers tends to be my least favorite, but I did like them as a couple. I disliked the eight year gap coupled with the need to have so many “firsts” together. I cringed when she said she's never told someone she was falling for them before.
