This was my least favorite of the Ex Hex serious, but in fairness, I really enjoyed the first two books.
I liked the banter of the two MCs. But I think that the mystery/time travel fell a little flat for me.
I think the idea behind the story line was solid, but that the book would need to be a lot longer to do it justice. Things felt like they could have been less rushed with more details. Also. I wanted more of some of the side characters, like Emerald and the grandparents.
this book was entertaining enough but unfortunately it didn’t leave much of an impression. after enjoying the first book, this one was disappointing. it felt like it tried to cram in too much within too short a timeframe, which threw off the pacing. while the ideas were interesting, they weren’t explored deeply enough to hold my attention or make me care. the characters also felt underdeveloped and flat after a few chapters.
A nice little read! I love thé characters in this world and the witchy vibes are perfect! I think the book would’ve benefitted from being longer and having more things contributing to the plot but I had a good time nonetheless.
I'm a little sad this is the last book (or is it??) in this trilogy. I really liked all three. I laughed out loud a couple of times! Sweet and funny with some great spice!

I really enjoyed it.
I was surprised Tamsyn was the FMC at first but I loved her as the time went on. Bowen I loved since the beginning and I was so excited to read his book!
And time travel! It might not be my favourite trope but this book made me like it, ngl.
I loved how Bowen and Tamsyn stuck together and we're a team, instead of being resentful toward each other as I feared. I love how they had each other's back through it all.
I hate the love/lust athe first sight so I was annoyed that this book had it but I guess it kind of helped that they were mostly chatting and messaging each other for the first year instead after meeting instead of meeting each other? Idk, it helped I guess.
Bowen's grandmother was amazing and I loved her and how she helped them in the end. Annie was fantastic and she was definitely my favourite. I loved all the shenanigans Bowen and Tam got themselves into!
What I didn't like is how the Declan stuff just got resolved at the end “just because”. I hoped they would help him, but I hoped we would get a real solution to his problems - otherwise what was it all for? Bowen was still traumatised and for nothing?? Come on, Erin could have done better instead of bringing him back for a happy ending.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This book was perfection. Perfect amount of magic, love, spice, likeable characters and interesting storyline. I kicked my feet, I swooned bc Bowen is 10/10 book husband material like
