The Shade of the Moon

I enjoyed the series but this last book was the worst. Jon is insufferable the whole time.

Could not finish this. I loved the first book, but now the story is just too far fetched. I don't like any of the characters anymore, and maybe that's even the author's point–but I think I'd rather humanity just be obliterated if this is where it all goes. I encourage the author to keep writing–She has an amazing talent. I just think the story of this universe has ended.

The main character was really annoying in the beginning, it was only in the last 100 pages or so that he became anything other than a whiner.
