The Shogun has deemed that any Christian or foreigner now discovered outside the bounds of an official trading port will be instantly put to death. For Jack, Nagasaki is within reach, but the Shogun's samurai are closing in with the help of Jack's old school rival, Kazuki, who has a score to settle. Will Jack make it to the city alive?

I enjoyed it but to be honest it just felt a bit samey. I mean I love the coming of age / weak becoming powerful stories however Jack seems to be weak at the start of each book and have some random training to get him powerful again... 8 times now?!
Overall not a bad end to the series (I'm assuming it's the end) but would of liked an epilogue of the journey back or his Japanese friends arriving in England, if this is in fact not the last book then ignore the comment ;)
