First book Iβve read by Marni and I want to read more. The spice was amazing, the writing was immaculate. This book follows Rowan & Cooper. The Spades (Cooper & his family) have always been in competition with the Coles (Rowan and her family) so when Cooper meets Rowan she withholds her last name for obvious reasons. That night turned into them needing each other more than they expected. When Cooperβs uncle and Rowanβs father decide to merge their companies Cooper doesnβt take the news of Rowan being a Cole very well and refuses to ever touch her again. Did he keep his word when he said he wouldnβt touch her again? Absolutely not. Did I mind it at all? Fuck no. I donβt think there was anything that I didnβt like about this book, not even the accidental pregnancy. The book was just that good, I was hooked from the very beginning and I definitely recommend it.
