First book I’ve read by Marni and I want to read more. The spice was amazing, the writing was immaculate. This book follows Rowan & Cooper. The Spades (Cooper & his family) have always been in competition with the Coles (Rowan and her family) so when Cooper meets Rowan she withholds her last name for obvious reasons. That night turned into them needing each other more than they expected. When Cooper’s uncle and Rowan’s father decide to merge their companies Cooper doesn’t take the news of Rowan being a Cole very well and refuses to ever touch her again. Did he keep his word when he said he wouldn’t touch her again? Absolutely not. Did I mind it at all? Fuck no. I don’t think there was anything that I didn’t like about this book, not even the accidental pregnancy. The book was just that good, I was hooked from the very beginning and I definitely recommend it.

I'm really appreciating the Spade Hotel series and the maturity of the characters. The communication is so much better than a lot of the other romance books I've been reading. Props to you Marni!

I really am loving all the characters and they have such beautiful stories. I'm going to need every single character and side character and all them to have books, too!

Cooper Spade is the absolute sweetest and Rowan and him deserve each other. They are so cute. I don't even know what else to say!
