The Promise

Loved the art and it was nice to be back in this world.
The story was interesting but a tiny bit disjointed.

Overall good, but I can't get on board with Zuko forcing this promise onto Aang and Katara of all people agreeing to it, especially within literal DAYS of the show ending and their Agni Kai with Azula. That just doesn't sit right with me. 

Initial Thoughts: I'm so thankful I got to be with these characters again. I rewatched the show last summer so I've been missing all my favourites recently and to be with them again was a dream.

I have mixed feelings about this one. On the one hand - it's nicely paced, has two plotlines and resembles the show a lot. It even has the opening sequence in the beginning!

At the same time, I feel like this is one of those plots that could've been resolved with a proper dialogue.

The comic, however, sets an important milestone towards the world that we see in The Legend of Korra, so I would still recommend reading it.
