Charles Stross is am amazing author. I loved Singularity Sky and Iron Sunrise. This series is always entertaining even it its not from the same perspective / characters as the rest of the series. Bring ‘em on! Its a case of NIGHTMARE GREEN deliciousness.

Creative take on some fantasy tropes mixed with the series' typical computer science lovecraft math (which is my favorite thing).

I miss Bob, almost dropped the book at first but I'm glad I circled back a few months later.

Shallow premise, cardboard characters in an oddly soapboxy narrative. The quality of the series has trended downward quickly, which is unfortunate as the overall theme was quite fun.

With each new Laundry novel, Stross blends eldritch and modern day horrors in amusing and alarming ways. He also manages to weave present day politics and paranoia into his stories. I think that's what makes them so entertaining. A terrific read!
